Community Prayer Meeting

The events of this past Sunday at Bondi Beach have left our community and city in a state of shock and grief. We are gathering for a special community prayer meeting tomorrow night (Wednesday 17th), from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

This is a time for us to come together, to lay our burdens before the Lord, and to pray for others. The prayer meeting is open to our local community; please feel free to bring friends, neighbours, or anyone seeking comfort and prayer in the wake of this tragedy.

Together, we will pray especially for the bereaved and the injured, first responders, the community around Bondi Beach, our Jewish friends and neighbours, the wider Sydney community, and the coming of God’s kingdom where peace and justice reign.

Pastors will be available after the meeting to pray personally with anyone who is seeking prayer.

Good News from Romans

‘There is always Hope’

Perhaps you’ve seen these reassuring words at those tragic locations where people consider bringing their lives to an end. For without hope what is there? We all need hope.

But where is hope to be found? Hope that isn’t dependant on our success, our mood or the economy.

Hope that will enable you to persevere even in the face of suffering.

Join us each week as we hear God’s good news that gives true hope in the ancient letter from his apostle Paul to the Romans.
