Ministry Team
Shaun McGregor | Senior Minister
Having grown up in Roseville, Shaun served Jesus in Wollongong and North-West Sydney before joining our church in 2020. He loves the rich diversity of our local community, and is passionate about sharing with everyone the good news of Jesus. For Shaun, time off couldn’t be better spent than relaxing with his wonderful wife Danielle, his 5 fabulous children and 4 delightful grandchildren.
Shaun is responsible for the overall leadership of the church and leads the 8:30am and 10:30am congregations and growth groups.
Paul Seville | Assistant Minister
Paul came to follow Jesus through the discipleship of older godly men. After a career in IT projects, Paul began ministry in the Illawarra with a focus on young people while completing an Advanced Diploma of Theology at Youthworks College. He later completed a Bachelor of Divinity at Moore Theological College. For the past eight years, Paul has served on the North Shore, helping lead congregations, train leaders, and support the whole church in being deep in God’s word.
He is passionate about seeing Christians live out their identity as children of God and inviting many more to find true life in Jesus Christ.
Paul is married to Bethany, and together they are raising their three children—Cadence, Alexander, and Theodore. He enjoys music, technology, reading, and coffee.
Silas Thiem | Equipping Minister
Silas had the joy of growing up in a Christian family and came to follow Jesus himself as a teenager. Gripped by the life-changing message of the gospel, he desperately wants to see others connect to the life, love, and freedom that Jesus offers, and he still dreams of seeing a revival in Sydney. Convinced that God uses our efforts to make a concrete, eternal difference in people’s lives, he loves seeing people empowered to use their gifts and play their part in God’s big story. Silas is married to Hannah and has a 3-month-old son, Orion. In his free time, you’ll find him enjoying specialty coffee, journaling, or teaching his dog a fun new trick.
Silas oversees the Equip dimension of church life, helping the church serve Jesus joyfully and effectively.
