Giving

" Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Your giving:

• supports St Alban's ministries
• maintains St Alban's properties
• facilitates the work of a number of off-shore missionaries
• periodically assists specific mission-related activities of parishioners.

Supporting St Alban's ministries

Your giving enables St Alban's to:

• proclaim Christ and teach the bible on a weekly basis
• strengthen people for a lifetime of Christian service
• bring non-believers to Christ
• introduce children to Christ by teaching scripture in local schools
• nurture children in the love and knowledge of Christ
• guide young people to mature into Christian adults
• offer pastoral care to those in need
• engage with the work of the church abroad through partnering with link missionaries.

The amount to give

The amount to give is never set down in the New Testament. Jesus praised the widow who gave only two small copper coins because she gave out of her poverty.
You should decide how much to give:

• after praying about it
• with a clear conscience
• cheerfully.

Bear in mind the words from Paul in 2 Corinthians 9:7 above.

How to give

1.    To offertories and mission work
Once you have prayerfully decided how much to give to St Alban's, you can establish periodical payments for offertories or mission giving either on line or directly with your bank to the St Alban's Church Bank account:

Cheques may be mailed to St Alban's Lindfield P.O. Box 15, Lindfield NSW 2070.
